University Mission

Living in Righteousness, Complete and Equipped. Understanding the effective power of the Scripture, living in and through it:

Graduates will walk in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth – 2 Timothy 2:15.

Equipping the Saints for the work of ministry, and the fullness of maturity in Christ:

Graduates will be part of the five-fold gifts in edifying and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry in God’s Kingdom - And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ – Ephesians 4:11-13.

Statement of Faith

This Statement of Faith sets forth the foundational biblical doctrines that define our beliefs, teachings, and spirituality. It affirms the authority of Scripture, the nature of the Triune God, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of the Church. These beliefs provide theological clarity, unity of faith, and guidance for Christian living and service. Based on the Apostle Paul tenet of faith in 1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV) – God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up in glory; we constitute our statement of faith as follow:

The Authority and Inspiration of Scripture

We believe the Scripture, both the Old and the New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, the absolute and infallible truth, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

The One True God and the Trinity

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Redemptive Work of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is truly God in divinity and truly man in incarnated humanity, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scripture. Resurrected on the third day, He arose bodily from the dead. He ascended on high and is now our High Priest and Mediator, and the King of kings and Lord of lords over all existence.

The Ministry and Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believers, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and fruitful service.

Created in the image of God

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through the redemptive work of the Christ on the cross and the regeneration by the Holy Spirit can conformity to the full image of Christ be fully realized.

Salvation Through the Blood and Resurrection of Christ

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Spirit and thus become children of God.

The Ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation.

The Return of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and this blessed hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believers.

Resurrection, Judgment, and Eternal Destiny

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgement and everlasting conscious punishment.

The Church as the Body of Christ

We believe that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in its totality is the Body of which Christ is the Head, and of which all true believers are its part.

The Nature and Purpose of the Local Church

We believe in a particular locality of the church, that Asia Revival Centre in which the university is under its leadership’s covering, is an organized body of believers who have voluntarily bound themselves together in fellowship for the worship of God, for mutual encouragement and service, spiritual nourishment and growth, and for the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ to the world.

Church Membership and Spiritual Accountability

We believe that membership in such a local church is a privilege and responsibility properly extended only to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and Lord, and who are willing to submit to the authority of the Church.
